Our Professional Submission Process
We don't just "mail" your items; we provide a full-service audit and preparation:
- Value Audit: We help determine the correct insurance tier for your submission to ensure your items are fully protected.
- Professional Prepping: Each item is carefully placed in new, high-quality archival materials specifically required by CGC.
- Secure Logistics: We manage the complex paperwork and high-value shipping logistics, saving you the risk of individual shipping errors.
Services & Pricing
- Grading Fees: Fees are based on current CGC service tiers (Modern, Vintage, High-Value).
- Digital Heroes Packing & Supply Fee: A flat $7.50 fee is applied per item. This covers all specialized shipping supplies, reinforced packaging, and professional handling.
- Combined Submissions: To save you money, we combine orders into bulk shipments. There are no minimum quantities for individual customers.
- Expedited Shipping: If you prefer your order to ship immediately rather than waiting for a bulk batch, individual shipping and insurance fees begin at $40.
Professional Comic Book Clean & Press
Maximize your grade! We offer in-house professional cleaning and pressing for comics submitted to CGC through Digital Heroes.
- Pricing: Starts at $20 per book.
- Assessment: Our team will evaluate your book to determine if it is a candidate for a press. Final pricing is based on the specific labor required to safely improve the book's presentation.
Grading Turnaround Times
Please note that turnaround times are determined by CGC and vary by item type and service level. While some tiers move quickly, high-volume periods can result in waits of several months. We will provide the most current estimates at the time of your drop-off.
