When Groundhog Day arrives, regardless of the groundhog's prediction, remember that we're only about halfway through winter. This means we can still expect plenty of snow, ice, and all the other joys (and challenges!) winter brings. But you can also look forward to some great things from Digital Heroes! The 2024-25 Panini Hoops Basketball cards officially released last Friday, and I haven't mentioned them here previously due to the inconsistent Panini product availability. However, we're excited to announce that we received a solid shipment of Hoops this time around! These popular cards feature rookies, veterans, and retired NBA stars, and are known for their affordable price point and diverse selection of inserts and parallels. Look for exciting pulls like the highly sought-after Rookie Ink autographs, as well as unique designs like the We Got Next and Courtside cards. These are available now for purchase both online and in our physical store, while supplies last.

Get ready for the latest Magic: The Gathering expansion, Aetherdrift! While the official release date is February 14th, as a Wizards Play Network (WPN) store, we're giving you early access! We're running pre-release events this weekend, which means you can purchase Aetherdrift products as soon as we open our doors Friday morning. This is your chance to crack open booster packs, build a sealed deck, and get your hands on the new cards before anyone else. Join us at Digital Heroes for the Aetherdrift Prerelease and get a sneak peek at the newest Magic: The Gathering set! Prereleases are a fun and engaging way to experience a new release before it officially launches. If you've never been to one, here's how it works: You'll receive a Prerelease kit containing six booster packs. Open them up, build a 40-card deck (we provide the necessary lands), and then battle it out against other players. Prereleases are typically three rounds long, and this weekend we have multiple opportunities to play. We'll be giving out prize packs based on the number of wins, plus one pack just for participating in the entire event. Our Aetherdrift Prerelease events are scheduled for Friday, February 7th at Noon and 6:00 PM, Saturday, February 8th at Noon and 5:00 PM, and Sunday, February 9th at Noon.
