CGC Grading Updates (Cards & Comics)
I’ll be sending out another batch of trading cards to CGC for grading early this week—hopefully today! If you currently have cards in this shipment or in one of our earlier submissions from this year, please keep in mind that bulk grading turnaround times for all types of cards are running around 7 months. For reference, our oldest unreturned submission shipped late March is still in "received" status, meaning grading has not yet begun.
On the comic side, I am nearing enough books to submit a "vintage" bulk order (books printed before 1975 valued at $400 or less). I am also prepping a high-value order (books valued up to $1,000) as well as an unlimited tier order for high-end books valued over $1,000 (which start at $150 per book due to special handling). There is no minimum on the higher tiers but more books means better shipping and insurance rates. Turnaround times for comics are much faster right now—generally within two months for bulk and even faster for the higher tiers—though options like JSA signature verification will add an extra week or two. If you have comics you’d like to submit through us, please bring them in within the next couple of weeks so we can get this batch sent out!
