The fun will begin in:
Gothic has been unleashed, and what better way to celebrate with the Winter League!
Join us for the next six weeks (starting Monday, January 5th) of exciting limited gameplay as we delve in deep with Sorcery's newest set. Begin with (1) precon of your choice, chosen from the new Gothic decks, and add (3) booster packs of Gothic* to it to personalize your deck. Come back each week to receive a new pack and expand your arsenal!
New to Sorcery? Then this league is the perfect event for you! Everyone will be using similar card pools, meaning you can dive in and be competitive without owning a single card.
Missed a week? Don't worry! You can join in at any time and you will automatically be caught up with any packs you missed!
During the league, players will check in their cards at the Game Counter, to ensure everyone uses only the cards they open as part of their league card pool. Players can come in any day of the week, at any time that we’re open, to check out their cards and play with anyone else in the league. All it takes for a game to count as a league game is for both players to:
· Use their league pool for the game
· Check in their cards at the end of any games they play that day
· Fill out the League Participation Sheet to track their statistics. This sheet will be at the Game Counter. Make sure to ask the staff at the Game Counter for the League Participation Sheet.
Prizing
1. All Participants receive (1) pack of Arthurian Legends* and (1) copy of either NF Appurrentice Wizard or NF Promo Dispel at end of league, regardless of other prizing and while supplies last
2. Remainder of bonus prize packs are split based on participation, which is calculated as: Total Games Played (Best of Three) * Number of Unique Opponents Faced * Number of Unique Days Played
Awards Ceremony
At the end of the league (February 15th), pack prizing and additional prizes will be given away, including, but not limited to:
1. Additional Packs of Arthurian Legends*
2. Dust codes from the boxes opened for the event, depending on total boxes opened
3. Sealed Sorcery box toppers
4. NF Grandmeowster Wizard
Award Categories
The following award categories will also be awarded at the ceremony, plus additional categories as determined by the organizers,
The Prolific Sorcerer
The player who participated the most, calculated using the same method as used for pack prizing above, will receive (1) Frank Frazetta Sorcerer Promo.
The Victor of the Realm
The player who has the highest win percentage across all of their games will receive (1) Champion Promo
The Champion of the People
The player who encouraged the most active engagement across the league, as determined by the organizers, will receive (1) Grandmeowster Wizard Single Player Playmat

*: At the moment, we only have Arthurian Legends booster packs. Should we manage to get Gothic packs, those will be given out instead.
